Our fully customized boating experiences cover all must see and do things in the Arabian Sea, including the following enhancement experiences:
Dolphin watching (minimum 2 hours)
The sea around Muscat is rich in life due to its location and seasonal cold-water currents that keep our corals healthy and full of life. Dolphin’s hunt and travel along the coast of Oman from Musandam to Salalah, and Muscat has a fair share of sightings of spinner dolphins, bottlenose dolphins, and common dolphins. We also see plenty of whale sharks (from May to October), false killer whales, and occasional sightings of humpback whales and orcas. On rare occasions, we can see Arabian and blue whales. We do our best to get you to experience wildlife watching in a responsible manner to help protect our resident sea creatures and ensure a quality experience for all.
Fishing experience (Minimum 1 hour)
We offer fishing experiences with local Omani anglers to experience the local culture of our neighboring villages and their local fishing techniques. Our fishing captains are all from the nearby villages and they hold a wealth of knowledge about the local fisheries, their behavior, and seasons. On this fishing experience, we offer trolling techniques as an introduction to fishing around Muscat.
– Snorkeling (Minimum 1 hour)
The Omani coastline has many rocky cliffs and wadis, described as the “Omani Fjords”. Amongst these Fjords are many quiet and naturally protected spaces for swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, and SUP board use. On this experience, we have picked a snorkeling site that is shallow, rich in colorful corals, featuring hawksbill turtles and green turtles year-round.

Cancellations and Rescheduling:
Morning activities must be cancelled by 7:30 PM on the day before your scheduled date.
Afternoon activities must be cancelled by 10:00 AM on the same day as the activity.
No-Shows and Last-Minute Cancellations: Any no-shows or last-minute cancellations will be charged in full to the guest’s room, and any changes in participant numbers must adhere to the above cancellation guidelines.
Minor Participants: Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult, and age requirements are based on physical abilities.
Please note that all activities are subject to weather conditions and may be cancelled or rescheduled at short notice.
For the best experience, we recommend that guests arrive 15 minutes prior to the activity start time. Additionally, we ask that guests inform us of any health conditions, allergies, or injuries that may affect their participation. Please leave valuables in your room, as QTours cannot be liable for items brought on excursions.
Transportation:
If you need to cancel transportation, please provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice prior to the scheduled pick-up or drop-off time. No-shows and last-minute cancellations will be charged in full to the guest’s room.

We went for dolphin watch with my family. The captain was there on time, so we started our trip to seek for dolphins. At the first time we did not find any, but the captain was proactive and after a few phone calls we found a dolphin family. My kids were amazed, the weather was nice so everything was ok. My daughter’s dream has come true. I am grateful for the professionalism of the company, for them the experience of the customer is really important.
