Dolphin Watching & Costal Sightseeing
The tour starts from Marina Bandar Al Rowdha or Jumairah Muscat Bay.
we’ll start our adventure with a thrilling dolphin watching experience, admiring the beautiful views of the coastline and limestone cliffs. We often see pods of over fifty dolphins, which dance around our boat! And you never know, we can have a high chance of witnessing various species of whale in their natural habitat along our whale watching session
Off to Demaniyat Islands.
Next it’s off to Dimaniyat Islands, a group of nine uninhabited islands that are a protected nature reserve. It is a popular destination for snorkelling and diving due to the turquoise waters and abundant coral reef. We’ll explore the eastern part of the archipelago, where we’ll discover the diverse marine life and crystal-clear waters of Turtle Bay during our first snorkelling session. The Daymaniyat Islands are known for their unique ecosystem, which includes over two-hundred species of fish, sea turtles, dolphins, and even whale sharks from around September until November.
If you’d like to Scuba dive…..
please let us know in advance so we can prepare your gear for this. There is an extra charge for scuba diving, with all gear included and different levels for certified and uncertified divers.
Picnic Lunch.
After our snorkelling adventure, we’ll enjoy a delicious picnic lunch, surrounded by the pristine nature of the islands.
Coral Bay
Next we head to Coral Bay for our second snorkelling session, where we’ll witness more colorful coral reefs and exotic fish.
Back to Muscat.
As we sail back to Muscat, we’ll take in the stunning views of the coastline and landmarks of old Muscat, enjoying the beautiful sunset. We’ll see the historical forts and watchtowers that line the coast, learning about the rich history of Oman.

There’s an optional extra to experience a unique fishing adventure around Fahal Island on this tour too. Just let us know if you’d like to add this to your trip.

Cancellations and Rescheduling:
Morning activities must be cancelled by 7:30 PM on the day before your scheduled date.
Afternoon activities must be cancelled by 10:00 AM on the same day as the activity.
No-Shows and Last-Minute Cancellations: Any no-shows or last-minute cancellations will be charged in full to the guest’s room, and any changes in participant numbers must adhere to the above cancellation guidelines.
Minor Participants: Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult, and age requirements are based on physical abilities.
Please note that all activities are subject to weather conditions and may be cancelled or rescheduled at short notice.
For the best experience, we recommend that guests arrive 15 minutes prior to the activity start time. Additionally, we ask that guests inform us of any health conditions, allergies, or injuries that may affect their participation. Please leave valuables in your room, as QTours cannot be liable for items brought on excursions.
Transportation:
If you need to cancel transportation, please provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice prior to the scheduled pick-up or drop-off time. No-shows and last-minute cancellations will be charged in full to the guest’s room.

Abdullah, our boat captain was very experienced. This is a family owned local business. The boat was new and modern and comfortable. We saw dolphins and turtles and went to a few islands and on the way back we followed the coastline for sunset and Abdullah took us into various bays to show us the history of Muscat and the amazing rock formations. Abdullah was the perfect host and he is very passionate and proud to share the natural beauty and history of the region. An incredible experience.

There is nothing better than exploring a country from the point of view of a local. We had a great time with Q Tours! It is a family run company run by locals from the Qantab area. I love that the brothers and sisters all work together. You get to see the area through their eyes and you see their favorite spots in the area. The boat was super clean and had everything you need towels, water, yummy fresh healthy sandwiches and snacks. We took the boat from 11am to just before sunset to Damaniyat Islands with Captain Ibrahim. It took over an hour to reach the island, but we saw dolphins on the way which was a huge plus. When we reached the island they gave us snorkeling gear to see the fish and turtles there. We were coming back, before sunset, her took us on the coastal route and pointed out historic buildings. We were so happy with the service, that when we went to Muscat again we called them up and rented the boat out again for 3 hours to go to Bandar Khairan. Captain Ibrahim took us to a new spot this time called Bandar Khairan, and we snorkeled at different spots and saw more fish and turtles. I highly recommend this company to anyone visiting Oman. Next time I want to try a different type of trip with them which will be camping under the stars!
